The "Demons" were heavy in The Hermitage this morning. Tears were flowing. Laughter was gone. Dismay was everywhere. None of us could shake it. We were done. Done playing. Done with everything. When the "physical" part of The Hermitage is down, "emotional" and "mental" are quick to follow...and after almost two weeks of being physically down, we were in the great abyss of depression.
Disciple prayed. OH how she prayed...and cried. She explained that we have SO much to be thankful for, so much to live for...despite what the rest of those in The Hermitage were saying.
The oldest daughter called just after Banker and Financier paid the bills. She was the first angel of the day, calling to help lift us.
Angelo sent a message that he would be over in a bit to do the master bath issues. Another angel. The sink in the master bath has had issues. About a year ago it started to drip...drip...drip. Then it started to drip, drip, drip. Lately it has been a constant dripdripdripdripdrip. Something needed to be done.
With these angels the course of The Hermitage began to change. Hope was on the horizon. God is amazing. Prayers are amazing. They were heard and answered ALL day, AND there were many.
Four trips to Home Depot. Angelo's expertise. Builder's ready to help attitude. Despite a set-back, ALL turned out well. We are truly blessed. We know we have purpose. We know that God knows each of us personally, what we need, how we need it, and when. We know that He loves us and is there for us in our darkness. He is there in our joys. He knows our weaknesses, and strengthens us. We know ALL prayers are heard. We know ALL prayers are answered. We were humbled by ALL that happened today. We are thankful for the angels in our lives.
